Day 63: What a Tease

We had high hopes for Montreal's poutine, but this one just disappointed us on so many levels. I can't really say we chose to go to this place because we were somewhat nudged in by a man on a street. If you want poutine, go with what the locals recommend--La Banquise

Okay, pies from Rockaberry were not the tease. What led us to Rockaberry was after enduring an entire afternoon of stress, exhaustion, and indecisiveness. While we were setting out on our mission to eat our way through Montreal, we were given a surprise call from Air Canada offering us a flight to Rome. What?!?! We tried to look for internet to do a bit more research. Rome isn't exactly close to Paris.

Our friend suggested we go to a library. We took the metro to the library and it was CLOSED. We bought a calling card to call our friend in Paris, and we failed 5 or 6 times before we were able to actually place a call. We found an internet cafe, paid for half an hour of usage, logged in, started a Skype conversation and the monitor shut down, refusing to turn on again. Needless to say, things were not working well for us that day. We ended up declining the offer. This is where Rockaberry came in to uplift our sour moods.
